About Us
Our theatre company is dedicated to producing quality, relevant theatre showcasing high-caliber professionals as well as creating an embracing community to foster talent.
Our Philosophy
Art is almost never black and white, and is usually filled with infinite shades of gray. Definitions is a theatre company dedicated to giving artists a vehicle to showcase their talent while surrounding themselves in a community of like minded, supportive people dedicated to working hard to achieve goals that go beyond 'status quo' in the entertainment industry, but rather challenge audiences and artists to think, feel, and experience life in new ways.

Statement of Purpose
The corporation is formed for the purpose of bringing together theater professionals and creating opportunities to participate in the New York City theatrical community. The corporation will achieve this goal by teaming classic, reinvented and new theatrical works with motivated and high-caliber members of the theatrical community to create engaging performances and increase opportunity for professional growth.
Our Company
Founding Members, Jared Shirkey, Casey Nicole Wright and John Jarrad Klapko, have been acting together for the past 7 years. After graduating from Michigan State University and moving to New York, they realized they had all of the resources they needed to produce quality theatre right at their finger tips. They soon decided to dedicate their time to creating a theatre company that would produce the high caliber shows they had always wanted to do showcasing the many talented artists they've met along the way...and are certain to continue to meet.
